  11. I recall someone posting some info on how to patch (or 'unpatch') the message
  12. on the Apple menu so it shows the real ROM id instead of just 'Mac IIci"...
  13. If someone can repost it or mail it to me, I'll be grateful...
  14. BTW, I've recently been using the 'Aaron' system extension that makes the Mac
  15. desktop, requesters, buttons, etc., to look like the next version will (Copland)
  16. and I have to admit that it looks great: now I know what all those Windoze 3.x
  17. users felt when they saw W95... :^)
